5 Year UCSB Spirals Gymnastics Coach, O’Hara Chiropractic in Goleta

The team at O’Hara Chiropractic supports wellness through athletics. Founder Lori Sender-O’Hara was involved in gymnastics as a young girl. This is actually where she was first exposed to chiropractic care. The realization that it is better to treat the cause and not just the symptom came at age 16. After a professor piqued her interest, she would go to school for pre-chiropractic. Her passion to help people reach optimal health has only grown since. She would soon want to share her passion for health and talent in gymnastics. UCSB offered her the perfect opportunity.

As a woman she volunteered as spirals coach in the gymnastics club at UCSB to give back. She spent 5 years as coach of the women’s gymnastics team, and found great fulfillment in this volunteer opportunity. Her passion to see young people be physically active and health-conscious would carry over to her staff at O’Hara Chiropractic. They now treat young patients, instructing them on how they can practice a healthy lifestyle of activity at home. O’Hara Chiropractic places a huge value on athletics for young people. Lori Sender-O’Hara of O’Hara Chiropractic only wishes she would’ve gotten sufficient chiropractic care when she was a young gymnastics enthusiast.

Still, she finds great satisfaction in providing young athletes with the care she wishes she would’ve had. O’Hara Chiropractic’s approach to treatment has been shaped by the founder’s experiences, placing a huge emphasis on physical treatment over chemical treatment. The team at O’Hara Chiropractic believes this is the most efficient and healthy way to treat the human body. The experts at O’Hara Chiropractic assure all of their patients that they will not just look for the quick fix when it comes to their health. Instead, O’Hara Chiropractic is committed to real treatments that produce real lasting results that promote overall health.
